About Us: Panhandle Humane Society is committed to providing compassionate care and finding loving homes for animals in need. We strive to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and advocate for animal rights.
Board Member Responsibilities:
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making
- Support fundraising efforts and community outreach
- Provide oversight and guidance for organizational operations
- Oversee the fiscal responsibilities and obligations of the organization
Qualifications:
- Strong commitment to animal welfare
- Experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, or community outreach (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
